Alejandra Salamanco is a Clinical Research Coordinator at the Penn Medicine Nudge Unit.
In this role, Alejandra works on various clinical trials exploring how key concepts from behavioral economics can predict and improve patient’s health and decision making. Prior to joining Penn Medicine, Alejandra worked in multiple health centers serving medically underserved communities in Long Island, NY. She is particularly interested in pursuing research on the causes of health disparities among minority and immigrant populations.
Alejandra holds a master’s degree in Interdisciplinary Health Sciences from Drexel University. She earned her bachelor's degree in Psychology from the State University of New York at Geneseo.
