Mike Serpa is an innovation associate at the Penn Medicine Center for Health Care Innovation. In this position, he assists in designing and implementing strategies to improve health care delivery and its value across care settings.
Born and raised in Arlington, Virginia, Mike has lived in the greater Philadelphia region since 2007, and has been with the University of Pennsylvania Health System since 2012. Prior to joining the team, Mike worked at Penn’s Abramson Cancer Center and Orthopaedic Institute focusing on practice operations. He played a key role in the successful opening of the Abramson Cancer Center at Valley Forge and the Musculoskeletal Center at University City.
Mike received his bachelor of arts in political science from Ursinus College, and is currently pursuing a master’s degree in health care administration with a concentration in health care informatics at St. Joseph’s University.
