Caitlin McDonald serves as a clinical research coordinator for the Acceleration Lab at the Penn Medicine Center for Health Care Innovation. In this role, she works on a variety of studies that leverage behavioral economics principles to improve patient engagement and clinical delivery. Currently, her work focuses on preventive screenings and medication adherence.
Before joining the team, Caitlin worked as a clinical research coordinator in cardio-oncology within the Department of Cardiovascular Medicine. There, she explored the effects of cancer therapy on heart health and tested innovative ways to prevent or mitigate issues during treatment.
Caitlin holds a bachelor’s degree in molecular biology with a minor in psychology from Fairfield University and a master’s degree in public health from the University of Pennsylvania.
