The Langer Graduation Prize is awarded to a student graduating from the Perelman School of Medicine (PSOM) who has demonstrated academic excellence and
- fostered and facilitated entrepreneurial spirit through technological innovations, collaborations, and implementation between PSOM and the University of Pennsylvania Health System (UPHS), and/or
- created a premium innovational experience that has advanced medical education at PSOM.
MD, MD/PhD, and MD/master’s degree students graduating in May of 2024 are eligible for the prize. Nominations of only single individuals will be accepted. Nominations of groups or teams will not be considered. Nominations may come from faculty, staff, or students at PSOM, including self-nominations.
To nominate a student for this award, please submit the form below by 5 PM on Friday, February 23, 2024. Compelling nominations can report on activities that succeed or fail, so long as those activities reflect the entrepreneurial spirit and reveal enduring lessons.
